Today I found four more spellings of our name; Keemle,Keehmle, Kuehmle & Kuemlen.
The name Lydia Keemle appears on her death Certificate No. 2388. Her maiden name was Lydia Miller and she married Richard Keemle. She died on 9th January 1910 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Also, we have the death of Maria T. Keehmle born 12 March 1839 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and died 28 January 1909.in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania per death certificate 9288. Her father was J J Ramberger born in Austria & mother was Mary L. Heartte born in Maryland. Obviously this is Mary's married name. So there's a Mr. Keehmle out there too.

Now you can see our family tree which has about 2395 names and goes back to 1558 and is the result of many family contributors on the Kiemle-Kemle Family page. David Kemle

Inge (Kiemle) Schollenberg - Sachsenheim, Germany
Horst Kiemle - Neuried, Germany
Barbara (Kiemle) Horner - Plano, Texas, USA
Maximilian Kiemle - Leimen, Germany
Dr. Peter Kiemle - Krefeld, Germany

We have not been able to connect the Catholic branch of Kiemles to the Reformed branch. We expect that some Reformed Kiemles left Weil der Stadt, which is the first place we see Kiemles of Protestant faith. But so far, we cannot prove it because the fires in 1549 & 1645 in Pforzheim destroyed the records. There are definitely 2 branches to the family; Catholic & Evangelical. So we need to do more research to try to connect these families.
